Keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Pours oily black with a thin tan head. Meaty aromas, chocolate, coconut. Taste is vanilla, dark chocolate, maple syrup. Sweet finish.

Bottle. An almost black one, headless. Oily pour. Lots of maple in the aroma, with roasted malts, mocha and dark dried fruit. It's full bodied and warming, with a sweet caramel flavor. Maple, raisin, dark chocolate and roasted malts. Lasting finish. Too sweet, but nice. 240907
