Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Smells like dough. Grainy aroma with light fruity notes, wheat, touch of pineapple and coconut but fairly subtle. Flavour is a bit sweet with a little tartness. Light to medium body. Not very outspoken, lacks sourness as well.

Many thanks to Bierkoning for this bottle in the RB Euro Swap 2019/3. Over active white head stayed on a murky dark copper coloured still body. Zesty aroma with confectionery. Medium bodied, effervescent over the tongue with sharp clean back. Pineapple, haribos, malt, yeast & lactose tastes with an acidic tangy finish. All a bit mixed up.

Bottle @ home, a year after bottling. Pours a light hazy deep golden colour and a firm off white head with a thin layer retention. Aroma's of actual pineapple and cocos, with some lactic sourness. Retronasal it's sourish, lactic with some tropical juice and light cocos. Flavour is just slightly sour, a litle bit sweet even. Light bodied. Short finish iwht a bit of cocos and very light bitterness. Nothing too special but very quaffable on another hot day.

Tap @ Borefts. Blonde. Hint of pineapple in the aroma. Some tropical fruit in the flavor. Soft yeasty notes. Not bad, but uninteresting.

Come on, Molenpeople, this is NOT a berliner weisse. You used to make them so well on the past. No pineapple, no coconut, no sourness, no lactic dryness. What remains is a light beer with not much flavour. This doesn't taste like anything to me.

Best goed.
