tap at U Chameleona in Kralupy. Golden with a tall and creamy white head. Saazy hop aroma. Intensive bitter-sweet from the start, malty with lots of Saaz hops, almost chewable. Smooth and velvety. This is superb stuff, classic Czech lager at its best!

1l PETka from Pivíno in Slaný. Hazy dark golden-orange body, bit darker than some polotmavýs I've seen, off-white thick head. Bready-grainy aroma, herbal, pleasant hoppiness, vaguely flowery. Lean, cleanish, dry taste, peppery-herbal hoppiness, pleasant malty background. This is a clasic, good Czech lager without notable flaws. Not as exciting as some, but excellent.
