Bottle from the Beer Cave. Appellation - golden and clear. White head. Nose - green pepper and biscuit. Taste - caramel or honey with still green herb and then bready. Palate - light bodied, creamy middle. Dry finish. Overall - decent example of the style.

Can, 4.9%. Good lagery aroma with light malts and floral hoppiness. Clear shiny golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour has a good citric, herbal and floral aroma hop. Decent and clean malt base. Low to medium bitterness.

Bottle, 4.9%, Weak bready aroma. Clear yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is slightly bready and citric. Almost naturtrüby. Not too old, though.

Clear golden. Aroma is average grainy malt with a whiff of noble hops. Taste is malty sweetness with some light sour starch and light bitter hops. A little more viscuous than water. Not too bad.

Appearance: Clear straw yellow with a moderate white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: Clean pale malt, fruity and spicy hints. Light sweet. Low hopping. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, average carbonation. Summary: Drinkable enough. Uninteresting.

On tap. Clear golden. Dense white head. Good retention. Smells of grains, spicy hop, dust (almost basement). Light body. The flavour is a copy of Tha aroma. Plus some fruitiness. Light bitterness. Strange. Bad keeping?

Appearance: clear gold with a huge beautiful off-white head of good retention. Aroma and taste: grain, sunflower seeds, acetaldehyde. Light sweet. Distant grassy hop. Mouth feel: light to medium body, flat carbonation. Overall: cheap and commercial.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home sat outside in the garden on another glorious sunshiney day, Sunday 18th June 2023 we're gardening. Wow what a fantastic day. Listening to 6Music. Pours light gold, excellent clarity, white head. This is a fairly pedestrian Helles, it's okay but not really doing much for me, a little malty, tbf the sweetness is not an issue it's well balanced in that respect with a stream of light bitterness and drying finish. It's ok.

Bottled. Golden colour, small foamy longlasting white head. Aroma is herbal, some grassy and mild earthy tones. Flavour is grassy, herbal and some mild citrus with earth to it.
