Aroma had pale malt, perle hops and hay. Over the palate came grassy and floral hops, biscuit, pale malt and citric hints. Finished dry and bitter.

Dremel Helles, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase feines helles Malz und zarter zitroniger Hopfen. - Antrunk transparent hellmalzig mit zarter Süße und einer Andeutung von Honig. Gut abgestimmte, leicht zitronige und mild herbale Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, leicht mineralisch, süffig. Im Abgang dezente Herbe. Schwach hefig-ranziger Nachtrunk. - Feines, schon elegant zu nennendes Lager, dessen milde aber aromatische Hopfung die fränkische Herkunft erkennen läßt. (20.3.2020.)

Brewery tap, gift from the brewer. Malty aroma and flavor. Strong barnyard smell, emphasizing the rural environment of the brewery. Not filtered and therefore a hazy golden color. Hopbitter finish. Full of flavor, but not an entirely clean palate. Ten years later....bottle. Hazy blonde. Soft floral aroma. Medium bodied. Floral hopbitter flavor. Bready. Characterful helles with a hay aftertaste.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Notes of white bread, straw, hay and lemon can be detected in both the aroma and the taste.

Draught @ Dremel, Wattendorf. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head and lacings. Good malts, crackers and grass with a slight lemony twist. Dry and crisp. Some vague unclean yeasty hints that disturbs more and more as the beers warms. What a shame. Still quite drinkable however. Soft and quaffing.

On tap at the Brewpub. Trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner cremigen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, fruchtig. Geschmack würzig, fruchtig, Karamell, leckeres Bier.

bottle from Frankenland! Hazy golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Lovely malty body, slightly hoppy with a grassy-floral character. Smooth palate. A well-balanced beer.

Draught @ Brauerei Dremel, Hauptstrasse 21, 96196 Wattendorf, Bavaria, Germany. [ As Helles Lagerbier ]. Clear medium yellow color with a average, creamy to frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light hoppy, citrus, soap notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, light hay and soap. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100402]

Draught in Mürsbach. Soapy aroma. Hazy golden colour. Big stable white head. Mild flavour, nicely bready, hint of fruit. Mild sweetness giving it a good mouthfeel.
