Traditioneel tarwebier zoals de zuiderburen het hebben bedoeld, maar dan dubbel! Of tripel? Zoiets.

14/6/2025. Can from Norwich Arts Centre fundraiser following World Beer Awards. Pours almost clear pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is toffee, malty, wheaty, herbal, coriander, fruity, touch veggie. Fairly sweet, moderate bitterness. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness. Medium body, light foamy carbonation. Light spiced finish. Warmed to it.

0.33 l can from 'Het Biermoment'. Hazy, golden orange with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite spicy, gently fruity-floral and moderately yeasty aroma of orange peel, coriander, pear, dried apricot and light clove with a touch of banana. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather spicy, yeasty and gently fruity-floral taste of dried apricot, pear, coriander, orange peel, juniper, some banana and light clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit chalky finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Interesting beer, love it when something unique can still be created. Definitely somewhere between a Wit and a Tripel, really worth trying if you're a bit into those styles.
