This edition of the Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee Stout Series features Zira coffee from Uganda.
The coffee is named after the process used to create it. Zira meaning brave. The producers took a risk by experimenting with a semi-anaerobic fermentation method. This coffee is full of boozy, fruity notes, flavours of rum, chocolate mousse, plum, and black cherry.
Each version in this series uses a different kind of vanilla as well. In this case we've added Mexican vanilla. The Bourbon barrels create even more complexity to this banger!

Aroma has plenty of roasted bitter coffee. In the flavour there's a little fruitiness too. Something like forest fruits. Still loads of fresh roasted coffee bitterness too.
