Canned in 2021, purchased at the sterk, Amsterdam. Opening this can tonight, at home. For me, it was just a jewel before to sleep, great imperial stout, roasty, sweet, vanilla, chocolate, rich touch of toffee, well balanced, final of hop, lovely

Tap at the brewery - “Ghost 1317” - I really don’t think any of these “ghosts” should be separate entries (every beer on their tap list is “ghost something or other) - anyway, deep black pour - nose is espresso, vanilla, earthy maltiness - assertively bitter, but with underlying chocolate sweetness, vanilla, touches of coconut - like most of their stouts, it isn’t necessarily super complex, but it is bold and fairly easy to enjoy.

Draught @ Kultainen Apina Aroma has licorice and molasses. Also alcohol. Flavour has licorice, warming alcohol, ash, deep roastiness. Liquor-like. Salty licorice takes over at the end of the glass.

Very dark brown with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have heavily roasted malts, some almond oil and dark chocolate.

Tap@Peders, Copenhagen - black with a beige head. Dark roasted and sweet malty with lots of opulent chocolate, cocoa nibs, sweet toffee and caramel notes, some dark dried fruit, coffee roast, more oozing sweet chocolate , full body, dark lingering warming roasted finish. Gorgeous.
