500ml bottle bought at a deli in Petersfield, Hants. Dark brown with reddish undertones and a decent, frothy off-white head that left plenty of lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, caramel and roasted malts. Full mouth feel, with more sweetness to start, bitter chocolate, coffee and spice. Decent bitter finish with a touch of raisin fruit. Very enjoyable.

275ml bottle celebrating TILs 2-0 over Strømsgodset. Ruby-black body under a thin, filmy layer. Dark malts, a bit burnt, to the nose. Dark fruits and bitter malts to the flavour. Flat carbonation. Watered palate - I had expected more from this one (Coutesy of Wivi-Ann, 06.07.2008).

(Bottle, Royal Oak, Borough, London, 23 April 2008, room temperature) Dark brown, almost black, with frothy pale brown head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of dark fruit and chocolate, hints of smoke. Roasted, malty taste with chocolate, lovely notes of cocoa and a short coffee bitterness in the finish. Fairly thin body, but great aroma and flavours. Classic english porter.

A deep dark porter with a weak light moka head and low carbonatation. Aroma is pleasant, with plums, currants, licorice and chocolate. In mouth, a crisp dryish bitter chocolate with herbal notes, tobacco, and light peated notes. Medium bodied, but very complex. A pleasant surprise. LCBO Nov. 2007. BB June 2008.
