I was surprised this was not on the list. Found in the Wijn en Bierboetiek in The Hague. Orange brown color, cloudy with a lasting head. Herbal aroma, coreander maybe? Citrus. Herbal bitter flavor, yeasty. I found laurel, a hint of cinnamon, and probably many others I couldn’t identify. Fantome beers are of good quality, but Dany Prignon does experiment too much for my taste.

Bottle. 75cl. Light unclear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, roasted, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, pepper and pepper. Flavor is moderate sweet, light to moderate acidic and moderate bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (160208)

Another explosive beer from Fantome. The color is a murky orange from the disturbtion the yeast gets when opened, and it has no head. The aroma is dusty with light notes of oranges, but also prunes. The flavor is sweet spicy with notes of wood and prunes, as well as light notes of alcohol. The end is dry and slighlty dusty (from the hops).

(Bottle 75 cl) I mean, just naming a beer "Flop!" must indicate a great sense of humour and self-irony - unless flop means something completely different in French? Anyways, very dark brown with a reddish hue and a huge head. As most Fantomes this is heavily spiced, this time almost peppery, but rather delicate. Another innovative creation from Danny Prignon. 270601

Bottle Bottle opened with a plof (flop (?!)), so all the yeast inside was mixed in the beer due to the explosion. And there was plenty of yeast in the bottle! :s Therefore this one has an muddy orange-brownish body, with lots of small particles. It had a white, mostly diminishing, creamy head. Nose of malts and citrus. Moderately acidic intitial flavour. Moderately bitter finish.
