A classic export stout with added toasted oats. An extra smooth body with the dark malty flavours that you expect from an export stout.
The beer itself pours a black colour in the glass with a slightly tan head. As expected, there are roasty aromas with a slight floral whiff from the hops.
There's a slightly smoky flavour on the palate as well as malty tastes of toffee and burnt toast.
The oatmeal helps to deliver a smooth and almost creamy finish, but the hops come late in this one and there is plenty to savour all the way down.
