330ml can. Quasi black colour with average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, beige head; luscious lacings. Roasty, slightly spicy, almost a bit ashy, dark malty and grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of cocoa, a touch of liquorice, salmiac, coffee. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty, minimally caramel malty, grassy spicy, minimally spicy, hints of liquorice, a touch of burnt caramel, salmiac, coffee, ashy overtones. Oily to viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally greasy palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Well crafted, homogeneous, not very variegated concerning the hop flavours - not bad.

Very dark brown with thin creamy head. Aroma is a little grassy. Later some dark malt. Oily texture. Cocoa powder. Nice dark chocolate aftertaste. More of a Porter than a Black IPA but tasty nonetheless.
