Draught at GBBF 2007. Gold, lasting white head. Some cereal and nice hop on aroma. Some lemon. Clean in mouth. Excellent pils, drinkable and beautiful and I would have drunk this all day. My German beer of the festival.

(bottle) Classical Pilsener appearance with a persistent foamy blond head. Slightly sweet pale malty, slightly skunked (barnyard) nose with light-spicy, herbal hops. Bitter flavour, herbal taste on a robust malty, minimal-grainy base; dry-ish, bitter hoppy with detectable sweet malt in the aftertaste. Clean and solid Pilsener.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, deep golden with a creamy, off-white head. Lightly floral, hoppy nose. Medium body with a good malt base but overwhelmingly dominated by the distinct hop bitterness. "Feingehopft" - jawohl! 121106

Bottle: pale golden colour with a large white head, which falls back quickly with good lacing; aroma of bread and hops, light refreshing taste, with hops kicking in sometime later.

Bottle: Pale golden, medium-sizer, lacing, quite firm head; cardboardy nose, grainy and doughy too; sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; bitter finish with a little bit of aromatic hoppyness. Rather uninspired Pils............
