Deep dark brown color. Yeasty rosebudaroma. Sweet, yet thin and yeasty, with pure chocolate, orange and rosebuds. Long yeasty bitter finish.

Cloudy amber beer, little white head. Light frothy and airy palate, dry. Turns creamy. Sweetish malt base with a touch or orange and honey. Finishes frothy and airy. All right but somewhat over carbonated.

Bottled. Copper colour with a mediumsized fluffy to foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild toasted notes, toffee, some berries, spices and mild raisiny notes as well. Flavour is wood, mild toasted notes, sweet caramelly malty and mild toffeeish and yeasty notes. Pleasant in flavour, though aroma was a bit out of balance.

Nice medium brown, little red color. Smell is not good. I don’t exactly know what I smelled but I absolutely didn’t like it. Taste is just fair. Low carbonation, not very good this one.

Bottled. According to Papsoe this beer looks like Chinese river water - I would not know since I’ve not yet been to China - hence the water is very unclear and red-brown with a thin foam floating on the top... The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and nuts. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of caramel, malt, and nuts, leading to a sour finish.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a cloudy and opaque muddy brown with a tiny and dissipating off-white head - very, very poor looking. The nose has some roasted mat and a little yeast. Medium body, roasted malt, phenols and mildew. A little licorice in there too. No real bitterness. Very poor. 010910
