Strong lemonaroma, a bit milky. Yeasty, citric, milky flavor. Thin. There are better wit beers around.

Notes from early 90s. From bottle. Pale blonde color, cloudy. Aroma’s: coriander, fruity. Flavor: rather neutral, just a slight sweetness, wheaty. Light bodied. Finishes with a moderate bitter flavor.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle at 7.0% abv. Water tasting citrus and lemons. Hint of something medicinal. Long dry finish. Doesn’t hang together.

KBC Den Bosch, 2006. Tap. Cloudy yellow color, short head. Aroma of some wheat, coriander, some banana, somewhere in between a weizen and a belgian white. Taste is more of a belgian white, sweet, banana and citrus. Ok white beer.

(Bottle 30 cl) Fully golden, almost orange and very hazy. Nice head that leaves a pretty lacework. Has the typical witbier spices - coriander and orange peel - but lacks a lot in character and sophistication in comparison with the best Belgians. But a nice quencher. 060804

Bottled. Clear golden. Lemony citric nose. Sweet and clean, light bodfied, rounded mouthfeel. Simple but refreshing.

Cloudy blond color. The typical wheat beer aroma is spoiled by a metallic note. As well for the flavor (and too weak).
