Bottle. Gold in color. Large, quickly disappearing head. Don’t usually like shandies but this one is not bad. Aroma is light and fruity. Taste is refreshing and raspberry.

Solid shandy. Refreshing - sweet lemon and reap berry still with a definite beer taste.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of juicy and lightly tart/tangy raspberries, lemon, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, bread, and light herbal. Nice aromas with good balance of fruit and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of juicy and lightly tart/tangy raspberries, lemon, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, bread, and light herbal. Mild herbal bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy raspberries, lemon, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, bread, and light herbal on the finish for a while. Nice robustness and balance of fruit and pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/tartness balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy/bready, and lightly slick/syrupy/tangy/acidic mouthfeel that is okay. Feels really weird and not very smooth. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.5%. Overall this is a solid shandy. All around good robustness and balance of fruit and pale malt flavors; fairly smooth and easy to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Balanced malts and fruits, but the mouthfeel ruins it; should be much more refreshing for the style. A fairly enjoyable offering.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold color. Large thick white head. Raspberry and lemon in nose. Flavor follows nose, with tart fruit and malt accents. Tastes like soda pop. Refreshing, but nothing much beyond that.

Crisp light copper coloured body with a thin white head, about a centimetre thick. Aroma of super pungent fruit with raspberries, strawberries, lemons and some light malt right behind - nice and very fragrant. Light-bodied; Sharp lemon and citrus flavours at first with a little malt and a lot more sugars from the fruits, especially raspberries and strawberries. Aftertaste is mild, not showing much and definitely no bitterness - just a nice sweet note and a little tartness, but very light - great for the summer season. Overall, a nice shandy, just as you’d expect with no deep or harsh flavours - just a mellow nice finish with fruit and a light sweetness. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 12-July-2015 for US$1,49 sampled at home in Washington on 06-October-2015.

Why do I have to go to ohio to buy eire for a decent price when they are in W PA like me? From a bottle. Fairly clear lighter amber. Smell is odd citrus oil mixed with some old style hair permanent treatment. Taste is a good balance of bright lemon with decent tasting, no ill effects, beer. Better than expected. Not a whole lottah sweet but some tartness is there that does not simply come across as another dull fruit beer. Yes, the lemon tartness in there is enough to make me think Berliner er sumthin. Very thin remnants of flemmish sour or local wild. Very good fine co2 cutting sizzle on the palate. As the session continues, I’m starting to develop a fondness for this beer. At first it didn’t line up with other sweet lemonade shandies I like but this is up there in its own special way.
