500ml Flasche.

Alkohol skinner igennem. Lidt klistret, lang god eftersmag.

Half-litre bottle: looks great. BBD 3rd Mar 14, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 20th Dec 13. Lovely deep red hue to the ruby clear body, on top a blanket of foam, sadly it turned into a thin wisp and collar fairly swiftly: still looked good though. I love this style of beer: sweet and malty with just a little too much alcohol for it’s own good (and mine). Bajuvator sits right in the middle of this type: caramel notes dominate both the aroma and taste add plenty of chocolate and a sprinkling of toffee from the malty molasses. A rich fruit malt cake sort of feel from the start, good depth of flavours and most enjoyable. This doesn’t mess around: it’s malty sweet and alcoholic: if you are a hop monster it’ll leave you cold, however if sweet malts are your thing, buy a crate!

reddish-brown colour, 1-2 inch brownish head; aroma of caramel, slightly roasted malts, biscuit, fruist (apple and grape) and hints of alcohol; taste is similar to the aroma - it would be much better if the alcohol in the taste was a bit more hidden; anyway, it’s a really great doppelbock

500 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly cloudy nearly opaque reddish brown color with a 2 finger dense khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big caramel, molasses, toast, toffee, biscuit, raisin, prune, pear, apple, brown bread, brown sugar, light chocolate, and toasted/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark malt notes and fruity esters; with great strength. Taste of big caramel, molasses, raisin, pear, apple, toast, toffee, brown bread, brown sugar, light chocolate, and toasted/yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of caramel, molasses, raisin, pear, apple, toast, toffee, brown bread, brown sugar, light chocolate, and toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance, complexity, and robustness of dark malt and fruity ester flavors; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; with a very creamy, slick, and lightly syrupy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice doppelbock. All around good complexity, balance, and robustness of flavors; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

0,5 l bottle, nice bavarian bottle art label. Pours dark redbrown, mighty light tanned creamy head. Berrie fruits, malt and choco at the nose. Starts with coffie, berrie fruits and alcoholic. Full body. Later longlasting roasted malt with alcoholic background. Very drinkable.

50cl bottle pours with a dark amber body that has deep ruby red hues and supports a dark tan head of foam. The aroma offers up caramel and brown sugar coated dates as well as thin ribbons of prune, sweet raisin and a dash of chocolate malts. The taste delivers a mix of roasted malts, chocolate malts, sweet caramel malts and brown sugar and earthy dates. This is pretty smooth and plenty rich. Nice stuff and a pleasing sipper.
