Ulfborg weekend celebration of nothing in particular. Dark amber with a small white head. Malty aroma with a weak grassy hop note. Dryish malty flavour with some bread and toffee, and a hint of cardboard.

Can @ fonefan tasting. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light grainy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 231113

330ml with pinnekjøtt@Mother-in-law’s, 28.Dec.2012 Red-brown body with tiny head. Sweet prunes, caramel, dates nose. Sweet, but balanced. A bit better in itself than Mack Juleøl, but Mack was better with pinnekjøtt.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear deep red colour with a frothy beige medium head. A bit sweet aroma of caramel, malt, rye bread and some roasted almonds and hay. The flavour is light and has more leather, wood and dried fruit, but still some bready malt. The mouthfeel is light and slick, and has a light bitterness. Decent aroma but a bit light in the mouth, an okay lower alcohol Christmas beer.

0,33 boks hjemme: nydelig rubinrød farge og høyt, tett skum som desverre daler raskt. Frisk, middels fyldig smak og kort, tørr ettersmak. OK til 4,7%, og vil sikkert passe til julemat, men som ølnytelse blir det etter noen slurker for tynt.
