Can. Amber with a small head that disappears. Sweet fruit, metal and rather thin. A bit strange, but drinkable.

0.33l bottle from Meny. Pours a nice dark brown-red body with a quite thin quickly disappearing head. Nose is fresh fruits and burned malts - otherwise quite anonymous. Tastes quite blend. Some malt, thin caramel and week leather hints. Finishes off with a small bitter ending. All in all; Quite boring. (could have sworn the alcohol percentage was 4,7 - not 4,5 but that's another story)

Nice amber pour. Nose had slight caramel. Taste is almost pure malt. Too much of it to discern much else. Rated 6/23/02

Can 50 cl. Dark amber, clear with a small lightbrown head, Aroma; Mild sweet malty and caramel. Flavor; troasted malt and caramel, ligth bitter ending, ok.

(Bottle, Lorry, Oslo, 5 Nov 2009. 4.7%) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, toasty malt, red berries and hints of spicy hops. Malty taste with notes of caramel, red berries, dark fruit and slightly spicy hops in the finish. Some initial malt sweetness, dries out towards the end. Fairly thin but rather tasty.

Dark red colored. A rapidly disappearing tanned head. Sweet malty aroma with some fruit. Flat sweet watery flavor. Some sweet bitter aftertaste.

330 ml bottle (2008 4,7%). Clear, dark amber body with a big, foamy beige head. Aroma is light roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is sweet, slightly roasted malt, caramel and a balanced bitterness. Quite light and a short aftertaste, but definitively tasty and nice balanced. This is the best Norwegian wannabe Christmas beer.

Can @ home. [ Courtesy chris_o ].Clear red brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark bread, dusty, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (130508)
