Bottled (backlog). Deep orangeish kindof brown colour with a mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some wheat, mild spices, yeast as well as some citrusy and mild toffeeish notes to it. Flavour is quite similar, but has also got a sweet alcoholtaste to it as well as some slight bananas and mild toasted notes. This one took me by surprise.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with huge, thick, creamy, lasting, off-white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma with typical banana notes, some apple, a touch of clove. Taste is moderately sweet, wheat malty, fruity, notes of banana, pear, a lemon dash, a touch of clove and yeast spiciness; late hints of alcohol. Soft, creamy palate, soft carbonation. Archetypal Weizenbock.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkel orangegelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv hefig fruchtig, Geschmack sehr hefig, fruchtig, bananig, leicht würzig, leicht alkoholisch.

Murky appearance, some yeast patrickles at the bottom. Aroma has semi‐ripe bananas, some yeast and bubblegum. Flavour has overripe banana, yeast and hints of stinging alcohol that gets stronger towards the end of the glass. Palate is a bit too high on CO2. Decent.
