Westerwald-Brauerei H. Schneider (Hachenburger) Schwarze
Hachenburger schwarzbier – the black pilsner. An extraordinarily striking black beer with a slender, not too massive body. The precious, roasted dark malts provide a unique aroma and colour.

Hachenburger Schwarze, Fläschchen vom Craft Beer Store Steffenberg. - Dunkelrotbraun, klar. (1.7.2020.)

Swing top bottle. Brown colored. Soft caramelly aroma. Lovely malty, caramelly flavor with toffee. A tad thin. Just a bit of bitterness. Dunkel with enough there to be really pleasurable.

11-07-18 // 330ml swingtop bottle from Getränkeland Ziegler. Clear black beer, small head. Slightly roasted malts in the nose. Taste is a light bodied pilsner with slightly roasted malt notes. Quite interesting but thats it, boring anyhow.

0,33 l swing top bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne/Oldb. A lot of pressure in the bottle. Looks good bit it´s not really black, more a very dark clear copper. One finger pale beige head. Not a lot on the nose. Taste is low malty, little bit metallic. Thin texture. Nothing I would remember after the next beer.

* Old rating. 0,33l, best before May 07.

330ml bottle. Clear darkest amber colour with small to average, frothy, minimally lacing, off-white head. Grainy and moderately dark malty aroma with hints of roast and coffee. Taste is minimally sweet dark malty, hints of roast, a minimal nuttily touch, decent bitter hop note. Nicely balanced but lacks more power.
