This love letter to German malt will keep you warm as we make the transition into Spring. Made from Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich. Hopped for balance with just enough Hallertau Mittelfrüh and lovingly lagered for several weeks. A deep burnished gold with a rich, bready, subtly sweet maltiness and a toasty complexity that gives way to a crisp, easy finish. It’s almost time to emerge from our collective hibernation.

12oz can c/o Sloth. Big ups!!!! Bready, sweet, a little hoppy. Pretty much what you want from the style. I am about 15 Maibocks deep so...almost honey edged. Nice beer. Thanks!

On tap at the brewery. Pours copper. Toffee, prune, syrup, biscuit, wet grain. Medium body. Decent.

10oz pour at Max's is a mostly clear orange with a film of white head. Nose has malt, yeast, dough, some raisin, a little sugary. Flavor is chewy and dough, something a touch saccharine, some raisin. Not exactly true to form. Off dry finish. Fine.
