(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a big but collapsing frothy white head. Sweet grainy and slightly wheaty nose with a dusty touch, accompanied by traces of nutmeg. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Wheaty and cara-malty, slightly grainy and almost bready taste with subtle notes of citrus; slightly sweet and sour malt-accented finish. One of the better crystal wheat beers. 02.IX.09

Bottle (thanks to Quack-Duck!): Golden to deep golden coloured, bigger loose off-white head, lively carbonation; sweetish-grainy nose with a light lemony touch; moderate sweetish flavour with a very light sourish touch, almost medium bodied; light - but lingering - grainy and toasty finish with a lemony touch. Definitely not the worst Kristallweizen........

Bottle, 5.2%. Mild lagery aroma, hint of spice. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is slightly thin. There is a hint of spice like in a Hefeweizen, but the flavour also a bit watery. Especially the mouthfeel suffers from the filtration. But all to be expected from this style.
