We brew our Hachenburger pilsener with 100% aroma-hops. This is truly extraordinary – hardly anyone else in Germany does so. But this is what gives Hachenburger its unique flavour: It makes our pilsner more tangy, with a fuller aroma and character. This is no beer made in bulk – it’s our Hachenburger pilsner speciality.

330ml swing-top bottle at Café Hotel AltStadt in Koblenz. Crystal clear golden body. Frothy white head. Good amount of lacing. Noble oily hops on the nose. Flavours of pale malts and bread mingled with some noble hops. Subdued bittersweet ending. Refreshing on a warm and sunny day in Germany (23.07.2014).
