500 ml bottle. Cloudy dark brown with a fluffy head. Roasted malt, toffee, some chocolate, robusta, citrus. Malty sweetness, some dryness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry malty chocolate finish. A nice easy drinking Dunkelweizen.

09.11.2019 - 0.5l bottle from edeka in kehl, bb 03.96.2020. pours a cloudy deep brown with a very dense and steady off-white head. aroma of caramel, kvass, not much banana. flavour of caramel, rye bread, dried banana, plum, chestnut. not too sweet. nice.

Bottle. Gasthof zum Adler Fohrenbühl. Yeast, banana, some cola. Just a touch of herbalness. Caramel. Thin to medium bodied, a bit watery. Unconvincing.

Danke an kevnic2008. Dunkel hefig-malziger Beginn, sowohl röstig als auch bananig. Weich, mild herb, konstant röstig. Karamellig werdend, sehr süffig, steigende Intensität zum Ende. Gut. 11/12/11/11/12/11

Sehr dunkelbraun und trüb, würziger, schon fast schokoladiger dunkler Geruch. Der Antrunk ist vollmundig-süffig, hefig mild und zum Hauptteil hin malzig-aromatisch werdend. Dabei schon fast etwas trocken. Zum Nachgeschmack hin breitet sich in der milden Hefigkeit eine leicht schokoladige Röstmalznote aus, die dem Ganzen etwas dunkel-cremiges gibt. Herbe ist kaum wahrnehmbar. Auf der Zunge bleibt eine schokoladen-hefenote mit ganz leicht fischem Touch.

Brown with a beige head. Aroma of wheat and yeast. Flavor of yeast and a little pepper. Also a little sourness. Finish is somewhat dry.

(bottle) Hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a thick but non-persistent tanned foamy head. Slightly sweet and moderately roasted malty aroma with wheaty accents and fruity notes of red and dark berries, accompanied by rather strong clovy spices. Slightly sour and sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Initially robust roast-malty and moderately wheaty taste with a tinge of berry fruits and cacao; .delicately roasted and fruity finish. Decent Dunkelweizen. 21.X.09

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!):Deep ruby-amber coloured, small, but stable off-white foam; solid malty to roast-malty nose with subtle wheaty traces; almost dry bitter-sweet and sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; some chocolatey traces in the sweetish wheaty and roasty finish. Fine Dunkelweisse........

bottle, bought somewhere in the Kinzigtal. Hazy brown colour, large white head. Malty-yeasty nose. Flavours of chocolate, shy hints of banana and a tropical fruitiness are present.

Bottle 50cl.Unclear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white grey head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, caramel, wheaty, moderate yeasty, light banana. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft.
