Pint at Churchkey pours a clear dark gold with some sudsy white head. Nose has some odd peach and melon I don't expect out of a West Coast. There's even some buttery character, like peach buttered biscuits. Estery. Odd. It's not bad, but I wanted West Coast. Flavor follows with the fruit, esters too, just not West Coast in any way, candles and passionfruit, melon, light pine finally. Mostly dry finish. Fine. Just tighten it up?

Can thanks to Kromer. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is grass and citrus. Slick body, grapefruit, melon, grass, lingering resin bitterness, very good.
