Canned 10/12/22, drunk 12/18/22. Moderately hazy raspberry-cranberry-blueberry juice. Large, pink head showing moderate retention. Jammy enough in the nose with a healthy amount of berry acidity and moderate lactic acidity. A bit flat in the sense that it feels rather kettle-like. I suspect these weisses are now just basic kettle sours, where they used to be barrel aged sours. Not all that bright or interesting. But clean enough, I guess. Berries and lots of lactic acidity. Very little base malt, though enough wheat to provide texture and mild softness on the palate. Cracker, blueberry, raspberry and simple, boring kettle soured lactic acidity. Competent enough but wholly unexciting or inspired. RIP Nightshift.

Tart, and predominantly raspberry. A bit of a thin body.
