Karmin is our take on a Bavarian-Style Amber Lager, brewed with Maine-grown Vienna, Caramel, and Red malts. This ruby hued beer is exceptionally drinkable, characterized by notes of toasted biscuit and light caramel. German noble hops provide balance with earthy and delicate bitterness.

CX draught, 3/2/23. Clear amber. Small, white head, immediately to ring. Bready, malty, caramelly nose with a bit of mineral. Juicy strawberry almost, with vanilla, custard and more sourdough. Soft, malty, quite hoppy, with near astringent toast right away. Good base malt behind it, though. Toasted sourdough, strawberry, vanilla. Lots and lots of pretty nice specialty malt character, but, honestly, we want the yeast and water (and hops).
