Frisches, feinherbes Kölsch, schlank und mit angenehmer Hopfennote. Der obergärige Charakter besticht durch die leicht fruchtige Aromakomponente, besonders gut zur Geltung gebracht durch das reine Brauwasser der eigenen Quelle.

Clear golden colour. Average sized white head shows ok retention and decently nice lacing. Average to slight sub-average intensity in the aroma: clean, slightly prominent ceraly malts with hints of white bread, a not too timid grassy hops background, vague fruity notes (appleish, maybe slightly lemonish, however not distinct). All in all a clean aroma though. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, with the fruity component now slightly more prominent. Light to medium sweetness, quite light bitterness, but the grassy hops are definitely perceptible and the finish is dry enough. A pretty simple but clean taste profile. Quite light in body, average carbonation (slightly coarse, not macro lager.like but sure not delicate); feels overall a bit fuller and less easy to drink than you'd expect for the abv, though still very much ok. Overall not bad at all, does it's job at feeling refreshing, but there are much finer examples of the style.

bottiglia 50 cl, bel cappello di schiuma bianca fine persistente, color oro pallido limpido, al naso lieviti miele millefiori note floreali, in bocca malto pane bianco miele note erbacee, lieve astringente, carbonazione moderata, corpo medio/leggero, dolce con amaro moderato, media secchezza. 0,5 l bottle purchased far away from Köln at a gas station in the middle of nowehre in Western Lower Saxony. Weird. Clear yellow golden with small one finger head in the glass. Grainy and malt on the nose. Tastes the same with some hop bitterness und fruity. Getting thinner to the end. Okay.

Swing top bottle, provided by Dortmunder: thanks! Very soft grassy aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Light hoppy and grassy flavor. Some fruity (especially orange) esters. Light and fresh with a soft bitter aftertaste. Respectable Kölsch, indeed.
