Not too much flavor, I’m afraid. Some malt, some hops, again that metal aftertaste you’ll find more in beers from Dortmund and Essen. Some fruit, especially pear. Bitter aftertaste. Bottle provided by Dortmunder. Thanks!

Hopfig-grasiger Antrunk. Test vom 16.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,9,8,8,9,8 - 8,10

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin fast disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and straw. The flavor is sweet mlaty with strong notes of straw, and lesser notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear, pale, pilsener golden with a white head. Clean, malty nose. Medium body with quite a clean malt base and a vague hint of metal. The finish is dry and hoppy. 230407

Blond color. Light aroma of polenta. Light taste of cereals; regular bitterness (quite evident at the end, also for lack of anything else). Too poor.

Pale-golden, mid-sized firm head, lively carbonation; very shy malty nose, but distincive traces of "bread"; initial slightly sweetish bready (also dough) maltiness, light bitter, but mainly malty taste; nearly no finish, only nearly hidden traces of bitterness. Nothing great, drinkable but boring

(bottle) Golden colour with a big but diminishing white foamy head. Hoppy and malty aroma. Medium sweet flavour and body. Malts accentuated taste, some fruity notes and a short bitter and hoppy finish. Boring as most of the “Ruhrpott”-Exports.
