Some spiciness in this bock, akin to coriander. Murky golden color with thin head, aroma of pears and malt. Taste has sharp edge to it, tingling the tongue A bit different for a German brew, but not bad.

Bottle at the hotel in Berlin. Pours clear, light yellow with a fine, white foam head. Sweet and bready aroma. Very sweet flavor, heavy bread, sugar, light fruits, light alcohol. Full in body with light to average carbonation. Very faint warming finish, syrupy and doughy sugars, yeah more bread, too. A pretty one-dimensional strong bock, though thankfully the booze isn’t too invasive.

Test vom 8.4.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,9,9,10,9 - 9,05
