Big thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that bottle. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts fine malty, fine roasty, dry background. Fine yeasty without being too dry. Fruity hints of plum. Nice!

500ml bottle from appellation wines, cheers Ash! Pours murky brown with a thin white head. Aromas of banana, clove, toffee, touch of honey. Taste is sweet, needs more bitterness to balance it out. Bit thin. Not bad.

Tap at GBBF, thanks to Fergus. It pours milky brown with a small white head. The nose is earthy, smokiness, milky, wood and smoke. The taste is smooth, sweet, oily, smoky, ham, orange, earth and decent bitterness with a dry, earthy funsh. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel.

On tap at the Battersea Beer Festival (Feb ’12). It harldy looks fit for drinking! Murky/cloudy yellow/brown like a cross between dirty canal water and a banana smoothie! Frothy tan head and a decent one at that. Good aroma’s come off this beer, all the usual suspects for the style, banana, clove, maybe something sweet in there too, vanilla/cream/caramel? Top notch in the tasting department, toffee, caramel, banana, clove, a little yeast and a bit more ’nana for good measure. Mouthfeel also top notch, rich, creamy, massages the throat as it goes down, fairly low carbonation. Overall I really enjoyed this beer.

Dark cloudy brown but surprisingly fresh. Bit watery but a good balance of sweetness and bitterness.

50cl bottle. Pours a toffee colour with a yellow hue around the edges. There are steady bubbles and a good head though not as enormous as usual. The nose is of banana and cream, maybe including a hint of vanilla. The taste has more bananas, vanilla ice-cream and a toffee note in the background that comes in more at the end. The palate is medium to big in structure, there is a very creamy texture as expected and the finish fresh if not completely clean. Overall, a lovely rich but refreshing beer.

Hazy amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints of bread. Breadish flavour with caramel and malty notes. Finished sweet.

Muddy brown with a lasting off-white head. Fruity aroma with some banana. Sweetish fruity flavour with a little yeast
