Das Karg Weißbier Dunkel besticht durch seinen Mahagoni-Ton mit schöner Hefetrübung und einem feinen, fast sahnigen Schaum. Dem Glas entsteigt eine süßliche Karamellnote vermischt mit bananigen Aromen. Der Antrunk ist von leichter Kohlensäure geprägt, gefolgt von süßen schokoladigen Noten. Der vollmundige Körper wird abgerundet durch eine leichte Bittere, die fast schon an Bitterschokolade erinnert.

Das dunkle Weizen vom Karg, aus der Flasche (Flaschengärung) im Brauereigasthof in Murnau. - Ein spritziges, angenehm herb-fruchtiges Hefeweizen, das sich nur durch eine feine Kaffeenote von einem hellen Weizenbier unterscheidet. - Angenehm aber nicht herausragend, anders als die Haxen beim Karg, die wirklich einsame Spitzenklasse sind! 0.5 l bottle from 'Getränke Kosmol', best before May 2024. Hazy, dark reddish brown with a large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty-spicy, minimally roasty aroma of caramel, toasted nuts, overripe banana, clove and bread crust. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit roasty taste of caramel, bread crust, toasted nuts, overripe banana, clove, some chocolate and traces of raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Almost full-bodied, smooth, slightly creamy but fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant Dunkelweizen, not overly outspoken but well-balanced and saturating.

Murky brownish. Aroma is green apple light yeast light caramel dried fig. Taste is sweet green apple with light yeast spices. A little boozy with bitter hops and musty yeast finish. Below average.

Perfect to style. 50cl bottle pours a dark brown beige head. Wheaty nose cloves and banana and bubblegum and some caramel. Flavors follow. Tight. Off dry finish. 8 4 8 4 15

0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Cloudy brown in the glass, one finger pale beige head. Malty fruity smell. Taste has toasted wheat malt, yeast, banana, clove, some orange fruity sweetness. Everything you expect from a Dunkelweizen. Little bit dry bitterness, above average carbonation. Nice one.
