37.5 cl bottle. Pours golden hazzlenut brown. Off white head. Aroma is mild fruity and caramelish malty. Smooth fruity. Caramelish. Light metallic. Overripe fruity and caramelish. Toasted malty. Sweet and roasted malt. Overripe fruity and smooth wineous finish.

75cl bottle (no. 12740 from 34500, bottled 05/2023, BBF: no date on the bottle) from L’ Auberge de Poteaupré as my beer #8900. F: big, tan, good retention. C: brown with dark coppery against the light. A: dark fruits, woody, calvados, red fruits, caramel, raisins, honey. T: full malty base, red apples, plums, red berries, pears, banana touch, woody, calvados of course with bit warming alcohol, bit chocolate, soft carbonation, this should be very good for ageing so I must to head to Chimay to take some pieces for the cellar.

ABV: 10.5%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, caramel, sweet malt, dried fruit, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity yeast, barrel, wood, calvados. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, sharp, oak, oak - wood, barrel, calvados, fruity yeast, caramel, dried fruit, medium dry to dry, to me unbalanced. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and alcoholic. [20240215]

Pours dark, bit unclear brown. Medium sized, stable white head. Scent is mild, woody, apples, sugary. Taste is sharp, surprisingly thin and bitter. Mild on the barrel. Rather highly carbonated. Some chocolate earthyness. Very decent indeed!

opalescent chestnut to mahogany colour, moderate sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma of prune or rather plum jam, vanilla, dried sour cherry, raisins, some figs and cocoa notes; taste has the same notes with candied orange peel; amazing, as expected

0.75l bottle thanks to Lore. Slightly opaque brown body with a thin pearl head. Nutmeg and cocoa in the aroma with some raisins, oak and a touch of vanilla and booze. Taste of cocoa, candi sugar, nutmeg, orange zest, banana, oak, booze and vanilla. As usual very complex, beautiful beer. Wow!

Bottle (Alko web). Deep brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is bananas, some wood, spices, alcohol and some mild calvados tones. Flavour is clvados, some spices, mild bananas and some alcohol with sweet malts as well. Not that pleasant.
