Our friends at Unseen Creatures Brewing invited us over to brew a style which we both really enjoy drinking, a traditional West Coast IPA. An easy drinking 7 % ABV, primarily C-hops with a touch of Simcoe, blending sweetness with sticky, resiny bitterness.

This is our take on the beer that we brewed in the US, brewed in Sweden.

Hops: Chinook, Citra, Columbus, Cascade and Simcoe.

Where: Systembolaget.
Appearance: Amber colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Malt, caramel, fruit, resin, pine.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Malt, fruit, caramel, hops.

Bärnstensfärgad med fast skum. Doft av torkad frukt, kåda och tallbarr. Kådig humlesmak med tallbarr och en anings russin. Zestig efterbeska. Bra!

Sample at Brewskival 2023, Helsingborg 11/08/2023 West coast sweet fruity set upon a strong caramel malty backbone, big resinous hops in the house, bitter edged resinous hoppy finish.
