First Pils is the first beer ever brewed by Hopewell and, fittingly, the one we reach for most often. A Pilsner-style Lager with a bready malt profile and a snappy noble hop finish. Tastes great anytime—but best with friends.

16oz can. Nice stuff. Floral, pleasant noble hope tone. Easy, medium body. Crackery, clean malt tone. Solid lagering. Hyper sessionable, but some nice depth too. Good stuff.

Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2024. Slightly golden body, white head. Floral and herbal aroma. Herbal, floral taste, lightly minerally-salty, bitterish. Nice overall! Hah, had it noted as Table Salt, but my notes said a very obviously different story... ah late festival moments.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is cracker malt and noble hop herbal. Flavor is more cracker malt a hint of sweetness and again the herbal noble hop finishes things off. Pretty good pils.

Aromas are dry grain with a little spicy, floral hops. Flavors are similar to nose, with great balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Good body and finish follows flavors. Refreshing and satisfying. Nice beer.

On tap at Parson’s. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma combines lemongrass and hay with a good amount of straw backing. Flavor has lots of straw with light hay and a hint of lemongrass underlying.
