A faint hoppiness in the flavor. Some raspberry esters. Light butterscotch character. Thinnish but tasty. Re-rate 28.04.10: cellar run @ the brewery. Amber color, hazy. Nutmeg, cardemom, caramel and cigar tobacco. No specific aroma. Fairly long aftertaste with caramel and tobacco.

Draught, 5.6% at the brewpub. Buttery, dusty aroma. Hazy brown amber colour. Small creamy head. Quite a lot of butter in the flavour, citric finish. Does not taste infected as such, but not very pleasant.

From tap at the brewpub as Fikkie Amber, 5.6%. Pours clear and golden amber with a diminished white head. Aroma is roasted malty and somewhat butterish. Roasted malty flavoured with distinct notes of diacetyl ad some off citric note into a mild sweet finish.
