Tip Tap draught, 10/14/23. Dark, possibly clear. Deep purple highlights. Tan head quickly fades to ring. Nose has a quick shot of bourbon liquor and wood followed by big chocolate, light alcohol and heavy dark fruit. Some charred malt and vanilla lingering. Clean. In the mouth there's the same bourbon liquor-like character up front, very dry and strong. Malt crowds in and gives some light syrup to the texture as an onslaught of prune begins. Don't really get much more from the barrel for the remainder of the beer. It's SO dark fruit-forward it's ridiculous. Like a glass of prune juice. Would have guessed this was brewed with prunes. Some lingering soy, molasses and caramel sweetness.
