Orange color. Malty, bready aroma with some flowers. Sweet flavor. Malty, flowery and oily mouthfeel. Heavy on the tongue. Alcoholic. Hops restricted to the far background. Where is the balance? Bottle from MoritzF.

The bottle looks good, but a little bit complex. The aroma is modest sweet and alkoholic. Flavor too "hard", boring, without something special. Only an average doppelbock.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and lesser notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet and very malty combined with quite a lot of caramel and some alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle. Slightly hazy, orange-golden beer with an off-white head. Sweetish, caramel aroma, quite malty and with some alcohol. Sweet and malty flavor as well, with some alcohol. Sticky, almost full body. Quite nice, but it doesn’t stand out. (070928)

Danke an Jevers Zeuge.

Bottled, thanks jeverszeuge! Hazy amber, small head. Butterscotchy malt aroma. Sweet and soft with near full body. Notes of red berries and spun sugar. Mild and rounded, a bit sugary. Potent with some alcohol shining through at times. Low bitterness.

Hazy light amber color. Malty and alcoholic, but a bit skunky, unbalanced. Don’t like.
