Hazy blond color. Malt and honey aroma and flavor; the mouthfeel is a bit oily; strong and a bit alcoholic. Not my favorite style.

(bottle) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Slightly dusty, sweet grainy malty aroma, slightly buttery with honey, light hoppy notes and a whiff of alohol. Sweet flavour, full bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Strong pale malty taste, honey, moderate herbal notes; sweet and even slightly bitter finish with herbal hops with a present alcohol. Not perfectly balanced but it has still a good, not unpleasant warming effect.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, deep amber golden with an off-white head. Rich and sweet malt aroma. Lovely full-bodied with sweetish malt and some overripe fruit. Distinct alcohol in the finish also containing quite some bitterness. Quite a lovely Heller Bock. 251206

Bottle: Small foamy layer, orangey-golden coloured; sweet-malty and fruity (honey) aroma with a medical hoppy touch and a distinctive dash of alcohol; sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied; sweetish-herbal finish with a distinctive touch of alcohol, lingering tart bitterness in the aftertaste. Not a very well balanced Bock......

Bottle. Weak, but alcoholic aroma with a hint of plastic. Almost clear dark golden colour. Unstable, small white head. The flavour is slightly sweet and alcoholic. OK mouthfeel. To me, this is just a strong lager without the malty flavours I expect from a bock. No vegetable flavours, though.
