0,15l Taster from tap at Væskebalancen, Copenhagen. Black color, small coffee colored head. Smells vanilla, spices, nutty, bit heavy on the adjuncts. Nice smell overall. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes vanilla, nutty, earthy, spices, light coffee, tobacco. Finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of vanilla, nuts and spices. Nice one, a bit on the pastry side, I would also prefer a bit more roastiness. Pretty balanced, not very sweet. Good one

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Opaque cola.brown. Aroma has cacao and stuff. As is the flavour..Quite bitter.plus caramel. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Good big stuff.

Gravity cask at the 31st Tamworth Beer Festival, Assembly Rooms Tamworth, day 2 - 05/09/2025.
Black topped with a khaki head.
Nose is chocolate, coffee, nutty, roast malts.
Taste comprises coffee, brown sugar melt, light roast, cocoa powder.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Tidy enough porter if perhaps veering a little to sweet for my liking.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 19th August 2025. Almost impenetrably black with brown foam and spot lacing. Rich coffee roast malt aroma. Rich and intense coffee and dark chocolate in-mouth with hints of rum and raisins. Coffee roast finish. Full bodied with a smooth yet engaging texture. Absolutely exquisite.

Medium creamy beige head. Clear almost black pour. Lots of coffee
