Dark muddy amber; some gushing to huge creamy head, quite stable and lacy. Chalk, alcohol, toffee, caramel or caramelised sugars constitute the nose. Taste is that of roasted and burnt malts. If there's hop, the burnt malts overwhelm it to a nasty bitterness. Fruity and more sweet malts underneath. Pretty full bodied, alcoholburn. Aftertaste keeps dominated by the burnt malts. I can't concurr with the other tasters. If only it were IPA-like bitterness!

Cloudy orange color, medium lasting rocky head. Aroma is orange, fruity, fresh, bit malty. Very refreshing taste, sirupy and dry palate, which reminded me slightly of the Orval.

Sampled draught at ´t Arendsnest, Amsterdam.
Pale amber with little head. Very flowery. Sweet and rather malty with syrupy mouthfeel and salty finish.
