Pours dark brown with a fading off-white head.Nose shows gentle smoke as well as bready melanoidin notes.Flavours include more smoky notes, light toasty malt and subtle roast, and more slightly sweet melanoidin notes.

Can. Dark brown with an inch of pale beige head that lasts well. Sticky, oozy smokey caramel and bread aroma. So it tastes - heavy smoke, singed toffee, hints of ham, some spices and bitterness - just enough to finish things. Rich with an off dry finish. Good.
