Something didn’t quite gel, but. Yellow pour with thin white head, little lacing. Hay and honey aroma, very full. Malty flavour, with some corny notes, something didn’t malt. Light lasting hop finish

Draft. Deep yellow body with a frothy, white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of grass and toasted grain. The flavor is lightly bitter and lightly to moderately sweet. It finishes lightly to moderately bitter and lightly sweet. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Biscuit taste with notes of straw and grass. Citrusy hop in finish. Refreshing, crisp and inoffensive.

Pours bright yellow gold into a Sam glass. White head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet cookie and caramel aromas. Crisp with sweet caramel upfront turning to sourdough before the lasting grassy finish.

bottle - Pours golden and smells of bready malt and light, distinctively German hops. The flavor has a pleasant hops bitterness combined with light malts that make for a refreshing, well done pils.

On tap in the Marienberg fortress, 15/07/2011. Clear gold with a decent white head. Easy drinking, with some crisp malts, touch of sweet fruit and dryish finish. Ok.

No, for the wine region around Wuerzburg is not a good beer. The Wuerzburg Pils is certainly at most second Class! Herb in the finish but quite sweet in Antrunk. Overall, a strange bitter beer that makes you want to wine - and this one should stay in Wuerzburg.
