18 Gr. Plato. Amber color. Malty, buttery aroma and flavor. Peach, alcohol, ammoniac. A firm hoppy bitterness, that lingers on in the aftertaste. Hints of roasted malt, slightly medecinal. Not too sweet.

Bottled. Beautyful dark amber colour with totally awesome thick creamy slightly off-white head. Nice lace. Aroma is wood, some fruits, mild herbal notes. Flavour is caramel malts, actually mild sweet syrupy notes as well, yet balanced with also some bitter hoppyness and alcohol.

Bottle, 7% at the brewpub. Seemingly clear dark amber colour. Small tan head. The flavour is nicely malty, a little sweet. A little alcohol to balance. Very nice and well-balanced.

(bottle) Almost clear, amber coloured hue with some yeast floaties and a medium-sized, slowly lacing, slightly off-white head. Sweet malty, slightly toasted nose with cacao and light notes of caramel, accompanied by a shy hoppy touch. Sweet flavour, robust toast-malty taste with caramel and a touch of chocolate/cacao; medium to full bodied with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet malty and toasty finish with balancing bitter and herbal hops, traces of alcohol are also detectable. Decent Bock (08.08.07).

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. Pours a clear, copper body, with an off-white to beige head. Sweet, a bit cellary/dusty aroma with caramel and fruityness, mostly dried fruits. Nice, sweet and malty start on the flavor, then some fruityness and alcohol-notes comes through, and there’s even room for some bitterness. Full, quite sweetish and slightly warming mouthfeel. Nice, pleasant and warming. (071005)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear, amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Sweetish, malty nose. Quite full-bodied with a very solid malt base of lightly roasted malts. The finish is dry with only a discreet bitterness. A solid Bock of good quality. 051007

Bottle: Amber coloured, smaller white head, sticking to the glass; sweet toasted malty and distinctive hoppy "oaky" nose; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; first sweet dark malty, later lingering bitter-hoppy finish. A decent, well balanced Bock.............
