Hell und schlank ist unser klassisches, feinherbes EKU Pils mit traditionell ausgewogenem Hopfenaroma. Der Genuss von EKU Pils beginnt bereits beim Zapfen und endet beim richtigen Glas. Um sein feines Hopfenaroma entfalten und eine schöne Schaumkrone bilden zu können, wird EKU Pils zügig in 2 bis 3 Minuten gezapft und im schlanken, hohen, sich nach oben etwas verjüngenden »Pokal« serviert.

Can from Kiwi. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Herbal notes. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Pours clear gold with white head. Nose of corn, barley, pine and lager malt. Taste of malt, pine and corn. Spicy finish. Thin mouth feel.

Bottle. Pours a light, clear yellow with a small white head. Pleasant aroma with light malts, dry corn and grassy hops. Flavor begins quite sweet with some grainy malts and finishes with light bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Not a bad beer at all.

Clear golden with a large off white head. The aroma came out dry with grassy hops and malty hints. Flavour was quite dry with grassy hops and malty notes. Crisp and clean. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottle @ Riepen, North Germany. Pours clear golden with a white head and lacings.Very grassy dry nose and flavor. Crisp and clean. Medium bodied. Flavor is fresh and hoppy with a bit of svovl. Good.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, hay, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20091016]

Bottle 33 cl. Clear yellow with a white head. Clean, malty nose. Medium body, clean malts and sulphur. Dry, lightly bitter finish. Clean and German! 060709

Sold in Japan as “Hojun Monogatari” in cans. Rather light golden yellow with a huge fine head. Sweet, malty aroma, quite biscuity. A touch of citrus hops. Slightly metallic flavor, with rich golden malts and decent hoppy finish. Nothing special, but nothing really wrong with it either. Malt ok, hops ok. Drinkable stuff. Decent malty sweetness balanced by bitter finish.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clearand yellow with a small white head. Cornish and grassy dry aroma. Light bitter flavoured with a light bitterness. Dry and grassy into the far finish.
