Tate the Great features an amazingly soft Pilsner malt base and highlights one of our favorites hops: Nelson Sauvin. Tate is a beautifully balanced 6.5% ABV and explodes with tropical fruit, white grape, and tangerine flavors and aromas. We hope you’ll enjoy as much as we do.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pale orange to almost brown cardboard color with a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: white grapes, tangerines, grapefruit and a slight little bit of passion fruity hop notes; super light clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine juicy sweet to subtle bittersweet quality; finishes leaning into the white grapey to grapefruit tones
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to medium; good sessionability; good smoothness with a touch of hop bitterness showing a little bit of assertiveness - but really nothing overbearing; nice low carb
Overall: pretty good NEIPA I could return to.

Keg @ Pien Shop, Helsinki. Poured hazy orange color. Nelson shines in the aroma, flavors are floral followed by red grapefruit and finishes off dry and bitter, light resiny notes even. Great.

Canned 7/5/22, drunk 8/4/22. Heavily hazy, sunny-orange. Large, white head, medium-strong retention. The nose is great...white wine, light vegetal notes, hints of pine, not the best expression of Nelson that's ever been done, but solid. No big resin and the white wine is fantastic. Clean, no alcohol, no weird yeast with honey and cracker and great attenuation. Doesn't quite get there in the flavor....there's a weird vegetal/mint character up front that turns to more mint and leafy, green notes. Yeast and wheat-like texture is soft and very dry, but supple and supportive. No big bitterness nor any bad resin/pine. But I wish there was more funk, mineral, juicy wine and such.
