Cask. Honeyish golden colour with a small foamy head. Aroma is floral, herbal and some mild grassy with a bit of sweet malts to it. Flavour is sweet and mild nutty malts with caramel and some floral and herbal bitterness also. Easy drinkable.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden with a tall, handsome head. Very thin and watery with a weak, fruity aroma. No real traces of the Maris Otter malts or the Liberty hops. Looks good but the taste is disappointing. 100802

Draught
Dark honey yellow with steady yellow whip cream head. Sweet and floral aroma with Liberty hop aroma. Fruity, grassy, trefoil flavor with late bitterness. Mouthfeel is smooth though palate is a bit thin. Good session beer.

Amber color. The aroma presents some malt, but ain''t extraordinary. Quite boring taste and palate, just a smooth feeling (and a pleasant malt-like aftertaste).

A light amber beer with no head. It has a light fruity ale aroma. The flavor is kind of weak - with a slight sweetness and some bitterness. Nothing special.

Sampled cask conditioned at Pot of Beer, Manchester
Amber colour. Rosty, light- to medium body. Firm maltiness, but offers little else.

Amber; aroma of sulphur, caramel; slightly woody, caramelly and a touch of lingering sulphur in the palate; off-dry finish. Was completely demolished by the wild boar and pheasant pie I had at that little pub in an industrial zone of Manchester close to the Marble Arch.
