Malty, peppery peacharoma and taste. Sweet with just a hint of sourness. A bit on the thin side.

Tasted this years ago when it just came onto the market, but it was replaced not long after that by De Koninck Blond (the ’bolleke blond’). Golden blonde beer with thin snow white head. Sweetish aroma of pale malts, butter, vanilla and the typical De Koninck yeastiness; same in the taste, malt sweet, fruity, a bit buttery and somewhat thin mouthfeel, some citrus refreshment, floral hops in the finish, a bit yeasty but mostly sweetness lingering. Typical Belgian blonde to drink on an outdoors café or something, not bad, but nothing to mourn about either.

330 ml bottle. Orange body with a white head. Aroma is fruity, spicy and yeast. Flavor is refreshing, spicy a bit acidulous and bitter. Like somewhere between golden Belgium ale and wit. It’s rather nice.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pale golden, very weak white head. A spring-like, flowery nose, buth otherwise rather thin. A bit of malt, a bit of...well nothing actually. My parents-in-law liked it, which is definitely not a good sign. 310599

The aroma is of hops, yeast, straws, and fruit. The color is orange and it has no head. The flavor is of corriander, fruit, and hops; aroma as well as bitter. The bitter hops giving it a slightly bitter finish. A very nice Belgian drinking ale.

Palm-like beer. Sweet-bitter aroma and flvour. Blond body, white head. I thougth this was going to be a commercial beer, but it pleased me.

Very weak version of de koninck, despite being an ale. The normal version de Koninck tastes more like an ale, than this Antoon, which tastes like a pisener.

Pale amber. Very sweet, vrey malty. Smooth with honey flavour, but not overly much character.
