Brewed with our friends at Schilling. We've been loving the Schilling lagers for a while so asked them to brew an 8th Anniversary Pils us. We used traditional German ingredients like Hersbrucker, Hallertau Mittlefruh, and Bohemian Pilsner malt and did a single decoction to increase the complexity.

Hate cutting up chicken. Need a robot to do it for me, though the electric carving knife proved worthless last week. However, a grand German pils. Marco Reus approved.

Draught at Rockefeller: pours gold with white head. Aroma is lemony, herbal, a tad grassy, pale malts. Taste is bitter and is not shy with traditional pilsner maltiness. Dirtier than most American pilsners. Worthy beer.

16oz can pours a crystal clear gold with some soapy, white head. Nose has grist, some yeast, a little farmy thing too, straw, light citrus. Flavor has grist and honey and a little green melon, flowers, some light citrus, straw, some oily green noble hop. Finishes soft and lightly sweet.
